A Great Concert

The title says it all. KJ-52 was great. Superchic[k] rocked. The other bands were all right, but they couldn't compare to those two. They rocked the place. So, here's some pics....

KJ-52 was awesome. Give me that Mountain Dew! The guy's name is actually Jonah :D

This was probably the best pic I got the whole night :D
It's a good pic of Tricia and Melissa.

I talked to that guy, and shook his hand. And he said happy b-day to Jess :D (His name is Matt)

This was also a good pic. Just to let you know, there's two other people in the band, I just never got a good view of them...

Hoy es VIERNES! Estoy feliz.

Today is Friday! I am happy.
Mi computadora es mala. Eso no me hace feliz.
My computer is crappy. That does not make me happy.
Hace las cosas estupidas. Borro todo el sonido.
It's doing stupid things. It erased all the sound.
Yo no puedo oir cuando personas firman en. Me hace loco.
I can't hear when people sign in. It makes me mad.
Pero hace buen tiempo,
But the weather is good,
Y es el viernes,
And it's Friday,
Asi que soy contenta.
So, I'm happy.
Los cumpleanos felices manana ambar! :D
Happy Birthday tomorrow Amber! :D
McDonald abre hoy. Soy definetly feliz.
McDonald's opens today. I'm definetly happy.

My thoughts for the day...

I was thinking about doing a whole series of random pics, but I thought of a better idea. From now on, I will have at least one random pic at the end of my post. Well, I'll try to anyways. We'll see how this promise goes.

Well, anywho, i read the news today, oh boy. Nah, that's not it. No original thoughts here.

What's been going on, nothing. Nada. Zip. Cero. Oh, I have a midterm tomorrow in Spanish, easy as eating pie. What else....Oh, the first poster for Prom Alt is up at the Rev. The theme (drum roll please).......HOLLYWOOD! Haha. Yeah.

That's pretty much it. I guess. -sigh- I wanna go to Ireland (random thought of the day...)

Random thoughts to go with the pics. I want fried ice cream. Brooke might just kill me. I love bunnies. We look cold. That is a very blue picture...

I know, I know

It's been a while since I've posted. I've just been really busy lately. Okay, that was a lie. I've been really LAZY lately.

Let's see, well, the last day of school before Christmas vacation was CANCELED, oh yeah!
So, my cousins (who live in Kansas and were up for Christmas) came over and played everybody's new favorite game...

Yeah, Christmas Vacations was a blast. My cousin Lindsey stayed over a few more times. I got the greatest game on the planet. Shattered Assembly finally got a well needed practice (and then played for the talent show for the New's Year's Eve party).

The bunn-ies came, with those two people they live with...

Okay, I'll stop linking, but then again, i'm not going to say much anything else. So, here goes...

We had a baking party at Amber Shain's house. And thanks amber for the pictures. I was going to post more, but I'm tired, maybe later.

For the Lack of Post...

I'm going to do two posts today, since I was really busy yesterday. I'll let the Peanuts gang tell ya what I was doing...

First there was a play at church in the morning. Andrew, Natalie, Chris, Brandon, and I helped out. I'm the one with the blond hair and blue dress. Natalie is definetly the one by the piano...

Then there was a choir concert. This was the mass number. The ninth grade choir is Snoopy.

Lights Please...

From now until Christmas, I will try to at least post something from A Charlie Brown Christmas everyday. Don't count on it though...

And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.
And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,
Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

Linus is my hero...

I am not a winner...

Yeah, the title says it all. I just got the idea from my dad's blog.

I'm going to post some pics once I get home. I'm at the library right now. We didn't have to do anything for tech today, so, we left. haha.

Well, on Friday, a few of us went over to the Williamson's. There was six of us. I remember that cuz there were just enough root beers for each of us. We watched Batman Begins. It was Jess, Syd, Brock, Kari, Mark, and me. Props on the treats. They were great. Reese's and Twix, my fave. Then we went into the house for a bit, and hung with Brit, Chelsea, Amber, Natalie, and Mrs. Williamson. Then Chelsea and them took me home. Since there wasn't anyone home but me and Mike (and Mike was at the coffee house), I decided to take Mr. Erickson's advice and have a party. Actually, I just had the four girlies over to my house, lol :D We watched Ever After.

On Sunday we had a hayride. That was really fun. There was a calm trailor, and a rowdy trailor. I wasn't up for being rowdy that night, so Jess and I entertained the front trailor with some singing. That was fun. We also sang Freedom is coming and Hark how the Bells with my dad and Andrew. That was pretty sweet.

Monday was All Saints Day Eve. Yuck. We turned off all the lights, so we just had one group come. They were some girls from my English class. They knew I was home. So they still came. Yeah. I ate all the candy, bwahaha.

The rest of the week was boring.

MYC: One Life One Chance <->

So, yeah, I got back from MYC yesterday. It was a lot of fun. Around 25 or so teens went from the youth group. Our speaker was Herbert umm...can't remember his last name. He was really good and funny. Except for the first night, we couldn't hear him. We were in the worse seats in the whole place. It wasn't that we were far away, it was that we were up in the balcony, on the side of the stage. The sound echoed off the walls towards us. So, we put up with none stop echoing. We got better seats for the second service. All together, there were 3 services.
Jon Reine lead worship. Worship was really good. I really liked it. They played a lot of good songs. Including, one that Jon wrote (or so I've heard, and it makes sense). I don't know what it's called, but they played it on the iCamp videos.
The first night, we stayed after service to see the Grits concert. It was better than I thought it would be. Jess, Brooke, and I (and a few other people) stood somewhat close to the front. When it go to a certain song, we got out and went to a place with more room. We did this so we could do the "Costa Rican step." It was fun. There was even one of the camera guys taping us, but we didn't get onto the screens, oh well. After we did that, we went to the balcony again.
Our free time consisted of walking around the civic center mall thingy, going to fast food places to eat, and watching TV in our rooms. We also went around to other people's rooms (and watched TV, lol). On the last night, a little group of us went to Perkin's. The people who stayed at the hotel were either swimming or playing Xbox.
The last day we went to Mall of America. We spent the whole time looking for our friend Ian. Now, I know what your thinking, "Yeah right. You guys are "smart". MOA is huge, there's no way you're going to find your little, tiny friend." Now, of course you smarter people are saying, "You had a cell phone." And they are right. But the freaking cell phone wasn't working. Everyone else but us had a signal in there. We passed by hundreds of people chatting it up on their cell phones. Not us. It seems that everyone in our youth group, except us, saw the person we were looking for. Oh well. It's alright.

Meeting up with a friend....(stupid Spam town)

Herbert Cantrememberhislastname...

Our little friend...

Yeah, we know it's spicy Brooke, you don't have to eat it...

Jess thought it was funny...

Deedee, Moe, and Rooney (the Doodlebops) were our honorary roomates. (In my room was Natalie (room leader), Jess, Brooke, and I.

Before Leaving...

Tomorrow is MYC, as most of you know. That is Minnesota Youth Convention. We're leaving (my youth group) tomorrow at 9. So, I'll probably be busy for the rest of tonight and tomorrow before I leave to post. So I decided I would post a picture.

This is the group that was at my house when browny arrived. He was the bell of the ball.

Browny :D

Well, everyone who reads Jill's blog on a regular basis knows that they came home this weekend. It just so happens that Mike and I were having people over that night. It included Jess, Brit, Syd, Natalie, Mark, Kari, Brooke, Jason, Matt, and Graham. If i'm missing anyone, please tell me. We were gonna watch a movie. It ended up being Jaws. I listened to Brooke laugh histarically (i don't know how to spell that) when whats his face was being eaten by Jaws...that scared me... At the time, Jess and I were upstairs playing with Browny. We thought the bunny was really ugly on the computer, well, at least one picture was... He turned out to be really cute. Here's a pic of browny....
